The suspect behind the deadly mass shooting at Walmart that left six people dead has been identified as Andre Bing.

Bing, 31, who Walmart says was an overnight crew leader at the Chesapeake branch, is suspected of entering the supercenter Tuesday night and opening fire, killing eight people and wounding four others.

Cops executed a search warrant at the suspected shooter’s home overnight.

Eight people died in the bloodbath, including a 22-year-old employee.

Shooting

The shooting unfolded around 10:12 p.m., less than an hour before closing time.
First responders located the first victim outside the store’s main entrance, three others, including Bing, were found dead inside the break room.

Three additional victims were transported to area hospitals, where they died of their injuries.

Walmart employee Tyneka Johnson, 22, was among those killed in last night’s rampage.

Half a dozen more were transported to area hospitals, two of whom died of their injuries Wednesday, Fox News reported.

Police responded to the scene of the bloodbath after receiving reports of a shooting around 10:12 p.m., less than an hour before closing time.

Bing had been a Walmart employee since 2010, the company confirmed.

Walmart employee Briana Tyler

Walmart employee Briana Tyler told Good Morning America that there were 15 to 20 employees gathered in the break room waiting to learn their duties for the day Bing opened the door and started shooting.

“As soon as my team leader said, ‘Okay, we’ve got a light night tonight,’ I looked up and my manager just opened the door and opened fire.

“He wasn’t targeting anyone specifically. He literally started shooting all over the break room and I saw multiple people hit the ground, either trying to duck for cover or getting hit.”

“He didn’t say a word, he didn’t say anything at all. He just turned the corner and started shooting,” Tyler told GMA.

“It’s by the grace of God that a bullet didn’t go past me,” Tyler told the outlet. I saw the smoke come out of the gun and I literally saw bodies fall. It was crazy.”

Tyler told GMA that Bing was “the only one to watch out for,” claiming that he always had problems with other employees.

“There was always something going on with him just having a problem with someone, but I never expected it to get to this level,” he said.

“He was the coach that everyone had something to say about.”

A second employee shared a video outside the store on social media and also claimed “one of the managers” was behind the brutal killings.

The unidentified worker said: “He blew his brains out and everything. He killed the girl there and everything.”

“He walked in and started spraying. I feel sorry for the victims.”

Witness Jeromy Basham, who was shopping at Walmart at the time of the shooting, told the New York Times that he saw at least one body in a shopping cart.

A source revealed to 5 On Your Side that a list containing the names of employees Bing allegedly wanted to target was found near his body.

Authorities also recovered a handgun at the scene. A motive behind the shooting has not been determined.

Local police and FBI officials were seen stationed outside the suspected shooter’s Chesapeake home, which according to property records obtained by Virginia-Pilot, was purchased by Bing in 2019.
