Who is Norman Dunkley ?

A Bronx public school teacher was arrested Wednesday for groping students.

Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at 1307 hours, the following 48-year-old male on-duty New York City employee was arrested and charged within the confines of the 44^th Precinct in the Bronx.

Norman Dunkley, 48, is accused of inappropriately touching four students, according to police.

Police also said all the victims are 10 years old.

Dunkley is a professor at P.S. 70 in the Concourse Village neighborhood of the Bronx.

He faces multiple charges including s*xual assault and forcible touching.

“This alleged behavior is absolutely unacceptable – the safety and well-being of our students is our top priority,” the Department for Education said in a statement. “This employee has been removed from the school and students and we will work with the NYPD as they investigate. If he is found guilty, we will proceed to fire him.”
