Shelian Cherine Allen, 42, an 18-year veteran police officer, is accused of importing cocaine into the US from Jamaica with the intent to distribute it here, according to authorities.

Shelian Cherine Allen, 42, arrested at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport with cocaine in stomach, vagina, bra, officials said.Allen was arrested and charged with importation of 500 grams or more of cocaine and possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine.

Federal agents found approximately 1,350 grams of cocaine on or inside her body when she entered the US.

She faces charges, including importation of cocaine and possession with intent to distribute.

If she is convicted, she faces up to 40 years in prison on each count.

Police said Allen arrived at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport

Police said Allen arrived at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on a flight from Montego Bay, Jamaica. Upon inspection, US Customs and Border Protection found a package of cocaine inside his private area and a package of cocaine inside each of his bra cups.

Authorities also found 90 granules of packaged cocaine inside his stomach, which he had swallowed. She was subsequently taken to a local hospital, where she expelled the 90 pellets.
